*AFTER THE VOWS...

72% of all brides say they would have spent more time choosing their reception entertainment.

Almost 100% say they would have spent more of their budget on the entertainment.

During wedding planning, Brides say their highest priority is their attire, followed by the reception site and caterer - reception entertainment is among the least of their priorities. Within one week after their reception, 78% of Brides say they would have made the entertainment their highest priority!

When asked 81% of guests say the thing they remember most about a wedding is the entertainment.

65% of all couples that chose a band to entertain at their wedding, said, if they had it to do over again, they would have chosen a disc jockey

*These statistics were published in St. Louis Bride & Groom Magazine in 2003. Sources include:  Simmons, 2001; USA Today, 2002; National Bridal Service, 2001; The Knot, 2002; Brides Magazine, 2001.

In it’s August/September 2007 issue, Modern Bride Magazine suggests allotting 10% of your wedding budget for entertainment.  For better or worse, the music and atmosphere will be one of the most memorable parts of your reception for both you and your guests.  When you look back on your big day, you want to remember your guests enjoying themselves.

I am often asked why I do not post my rates on my website.

There are so many things that may determine what I will charge.  It is difficult to tell you without knowing the details of your reception.  I will gladly meet with you and your family to discuss the details.

Hiring a Wedding DJ isn't just about paying someone to show up at your wedding, and he should do more than just play music. He should be your Entertainment Director, Adviser, Master of Ceremonies, Audio Technician, Lighting Technician and your protector (discreetly rejecting inappropriate toasters and music requests.)  I am more than your Average DJ.

If your DJ is inexperienced at weddings, then your wedding reception could be a disaster.  It's up to your DJ to create the right mood for the evening.  You should always meet with anyone you are considering and make sure you like their style and personality.  After all, this person will be standing in front of your family and friends representing you.  Don't let saving a few hundred dollars for a cheaper DJ (after spending thousands on your entire wedding reception), ruin your wedding day.  Choose wisely.  There is a good reason some Wedding DJ's are worth more than others.

I encourage you to call me at 336-655-6556 to set up your no-obligation consultation.  I would love to meet with you and discuss your day.

Ask me about paying with a Credit Card.
